The project, which is Part 1 of Project Bluebirds – an exciting series of improvements being made by the club to improve our facilities and links with our community – was completed towards the end of June.

Installed by Abacus Lighting, the new floodlights, which are named ‘The Challenger 1 LED’, will provide a greater level of brightness and a wider coverage of the pitch with its modern technology.

The Challenger 1 LED represents the cutting edge of floodlighting technology, combining unrivalled performance with a rock bottom cost of ownership and sleek modern design.

Along with these benefits, they will also help to reduce our carbon footprint and running costs.
