Haverfordwest County welcome Newtown to the Ogi Bridge Meadow in the JD Cymru Premier this Saturday, hoping to bounce back from the narrow defeat to Penybont earlier in the week.

The Bluebirds went down 3-2 at the SDM Glass Stadium, a result which ended our unbeaten start to the season, despite Ben Fawcett’s overhead kick and a maiden senior goal for defender Iori Humphreys.

The Robins, meanwhile, had endured an indifferent start in their opening three games, with defeats to Flint Town United and Bala Town following a goalless draw with The New Saints. However, they did pick up their first three points of the season on Tuesday night with a 2-1 victory over Caernarfon Town.

The Powys outfit have been in European qualifying action over the summer, and managed to reach the second qualifying round for the UEFA Europa Conference League after beating Faroese side Havnar Bóltfelag on penalties after drawing 2-2 on aggregate, before bowing out at the hands of Spartak Trnava from Slovakia.
