After coaching a grassroots team a few years ago Mikey instantly fell in love with football coaching, developing teams and individuals became a massive passion, and seeing young players progress made him incredibly proud that he was part of that journey.

After 2 years in grassroots he moved to a higher level assisting at Pembrokeshire Schools youth age groups. After a few months assisting he quickly moved into a Lead coach role at his age group. Seeing his team play football against a very high standard of opposition filled him with pride.

This season Mikey has started coaching at Haverfordwest County Youth, where he is assisting and hoping to add knowledge to an already successfully run team, and progress his own coaching career under the guidance of more qualified coaches mentoring.

Mikey has also set up his own coaching business which is going fantastic. Coaching players in a 1:1 environment where he can really focus on them in a personal environment and really concentrate on specific area of the players game, which they have all gained massively from.
