We are pleased to confirm that our new pop-up shop has been named The Bluebirds Nest.

The shop, which which will open in the next month and is located next to Tui and opposite Carphone Warehouse in Riverside Shopping Centre, will act as a one-stop-shop for our fans and the community to access all things football and the Bluebirds in one place.

The name translates to Nyth yr Adar Gleision in Welsh, and will have equal standing alongside the English language version.

After a very difficult selection process, which involved looking through more than 40 entries after an excellent level of engagement from the local community, the decision was made to combine two names.

The Bluebirds Nest was suggested by Pure West Radio DJ, Tom Dyer, while Yr Adar Gleision was sent in by Iestyn Davies.

As a reward for suggesting the name, Tom will receive next season’s home shirt, which was recently released and is available to purchase now, while Iestyn will be awarded free hospitality for a home game at the Ogi Bridge Meadow in the upcoming season.

We would like to thank everyone who got in touch with their suggestions, and look forward to hopefully seeing as many of you as possible at The Bluebirds Nest over the coming months!
