Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to announce the signing of striker Alhagi Touray Sisay, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old has agreed on a deal that will see him play his football at the Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium for the foreseeable future.
Touray Sisay is the seventh signing of the summer and brings Cymru Premier and Football League experience to West Wales.
“I am delighted that we have managed to attract a player of Touray’s ability to the club,” said first-team manager Wayne Jones on our latest addition.
“He is six foot four, has a good touch, and has a good footballing mind.
“He is strong and most importantly he scores goals. He has been on the professional circuit and is keen to get going.
“Finding a big nine these days ain’t easy but I have no doubt that the Bluebirds fans will be excited to see him play alongside Ben Fawcett!”
Touray began his career in Spain, featuring for CF Santvicentí in the seventh tier, where he scored 35 goals in 31 games in 2018.
As a result, he attracted the attention of professional clubs such as Hearts, Hull City and Stoke City.
Instead, he made a brief spell with Ramsgate in the English non-league scene, before moving to Aberystwyth Town. At Aberystwyth, he scored four goals in five league games, including a hat-trick.
He would later be given a chance of playing in the English Football League after being snapped up by Grimsby Town, who were managed by Ian Holloway at the time.
The Spaniard made two senior competitive appearances for the Mariners, before moving out on loan to Cleethorpes Town.
