Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to confirm the appointment of Alaric Jones as a our new operations and partnerships officer.
Having agreed a two-year deal to return to the club last week, Alaric will be combining his on-field role with an important off-field job.
His main responsibilites will include helping to ensure that things run smoothly from an operational point of view, working alongside our Chief Operating Officer, Beccy Nutall.
Alaric has previous experience of working in a similar role during his time with Cardiff Metropolitan, where he was operations manager, while he has also worked in an administrative capacity within the academy setup.
As someone who is well known across the county, Alaric’s presence in the community will be an added strength to the football club as he works alongside partners to help grow our visibility and awareness in Pembrokeshire.
Work at the club is continuing at pace as we prepare for the start of the 2024-25 season, with our first pre-season fixture against Carmarthen Town on 6 July just over three weeks away, and we are delighted to have Alaric on board to help with the important work that goes on behind the scenes.
Commenting on Alaric’s appointment, Beccy said: “I’m really looking forward to having Alaric working as part of the team at Haverfordwest County. Having worked with Alaric previously, I know how capable he is and his willingness to learn and adapt is second to none. He will be a huge asset to our team across a number of areas.”
Speaking about his new role, Alaric added: “I’m really looking forward to be getting the chance to work for such an exciting and forward thinking club. I’m excited for the season ahead of us, both off and on the field.”
