Haverfordwest County get their JD Cymru Premier Phase Two campaign under way with a visit to Park Avenue to take on Aberystwyth Town tomorrow night.
The Bluebirds will compete in the Playoff Conference after finishing seventh in Phase One, where we are joined by Penybont, Barry Town United, Colwyn Bay, Pontypridd United and tomorrow’s opponents.
The two teams met as recently as December 30, when the points were shared after Martell Taylor Crossdale’s close-range effort cancelled out Harry Owen’s opener.
Our other meeting with the Black and Greens this season came back in September, when Tony Pennock’s men ran out convincing 3-0 winners at the Ogi Bridge Meadow thanks to Rhys Abbruzzese and a brace from Kai Whitmore.
The Town start Phase Two 13 points ahead of the Seasiders, with the bottom six set to be hotly contested and the key positions simply impossible to call with 10 games left to play this season.
