Haverfordwest County will be looking to record their first league victory of the season when they welcome Caernarfon Town to the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Saturday.
Tony Pennock’s men went down to a 2-0 defeat away at Pen-y-Bont last Friday, while the Canaries defeated Newtown 2-1 at the Oval to continue their 100% start to the season after the 4-0 win away at newcomers Colwyn Bay on the opening weekend.
The two teams last did battle back in March in an entertaining affair which ended 2-2 in Pembrokeshire. Jack Wilson’s opening goal was swiftly cancelled out by Gruffydd Williams, before Kyle Patten restored our lead with 20 minutes remaining. However, a Jordan Davies own goal ensured the spoils were shared.
Having been in temporary charge towards the end of last season, Richard Davies has since taken the managerial job on a permanent basis, and will lead his team down south in confident mood.
