Haverfordwest County will be aiming to continue their good form when they welcome Pontypridd United to the Ogi Bridge Meadow in the JD Cymru Premier Playoff Conference on Good Friday.
The Bluebirds are currently on a four-game unbeaten run, having returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory away at Flint Town United last Saturday. The Dragons are also in a good vein on form, having not tasted defeat since going down 4-1 to the Silkmen back in January.
The Town will have the added motivation of trying to record their first win over the USW Sport Park outfit this season, having drawn one and lost two of the three meetings this term.
Although County’s impressive performances of late have allowed them to open up a four-point buffer at the top of the Playoff Conference with three games remaining, there is still plenty to play for when it comes to the chasing pack, which very much includes the Dragons. While Tony Pennock’s men could mathematically clinch seventh spot with victory and other results going their way, the Bluebirds could also end the weekend just one point clear, demonstrating how closely-fought the battle has been throughout Phase Two.
In anticipation of a strong Bank Holiday crowd at the Meadow, we are giving supporters the chance to bring a friend for free. Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults and £5.00 for concessions, with under-16s free, and can be purchased on the gate or, alternatively, online from our partners ticketpass, with a percentage of every sale being donated to our Official Charity Partner, the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation.
