Haverfordwest County will look to continue their positive momentum when they travel to Flint Town United for their penultimate away game of the season tomorrow.

The Bluebirds come into the game on a three-match unbeaten run, which they continued with a 2-2 draw against Caernarfon Town at the Ogi Bridge Meadow last Saturday. The Silkmen, meanwhile, suffered late heartbreak as a 93rd minute goal from Jonathan Evans condemned them to a 1-0 defeat to Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue.

The most recent meeting between the sides came back in February, when the Town ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Rhys Abbruzzese, Jordan Davies and Ben Fawcett. Tony Pennock’s men were victorious on their previous visit to the Essity Stadium, as Davies’ late penalty earned us all three points.

The competition in the Playoff Conference remains hotly-contested, with just five points separating 7th from 11th with four games remaining. The best case scenario for the Town is that they finish the weekend five points clear at the top, however other results could mean that we are tied on 37 points with Pontypridd United., with the race for seventh still too close to call.
