Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Dan Hawkins, subject to International Clearance.
The 21-year-old joins the Bluebirds as a free agent on an 18-month deal, with an option for a further year.
Having spent time with Swansea City and Hull City, Hawkins signed his first professional contract with Salford City in 2019, and made his senior debut in September 2020 when he featured against Manchester United under-21s in the EFL Trophy.
Later that month, he went out on loan to Marine , before taking in a second loan spell with fellow Northern Premier League side Stafford Rangers.
Upon returning to Salford, Cardiff-born Hawkins’ time with the Manchester club came to an end in July 2021 when he departed to link up with Finn Harps in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

The youngster impressed during his time at Finn Park, and as a result he earned a move to newly-promoted Shelbourne for the 2022 League of Ireland Premier Division season, having caught the eye of Shels manager and former Ireland international, Damien Duff.
Unfortunately, injury would cut his time with the Dublin side short, but he was still able to feature five times in the league, scoring in the 2-0 victory over Drogheda early on in the season.
And it is from there that the Welshman makes the move to Pembrokeshire to join up with the Bluebirds and strengthen our attacking options for the remainder of the season and beyond.
Commenting on his latest arrival, manager Tony Pennock said: “I’ve known Dan since he was nine years of age. He was at Swansea City when I was there, and then he also joined Hull City when I was there too.
“I thought he was unlucky to be released when he was, but then he went on to have a spell at Salford City and also over in Ireland, playing at a good standard.
“He’s been training with us for the last couple of months and has been impressive, so it’s good to get an agreement over the line and bring Dan in as he’s the calibre of player we are looking to attract not only now, but in the future as well.”
