Haverfordwest County have been successful in our appeal to overturn the red card shown to Jack Wilson in last Saturday’s game against Bala Town.
Wilson was dismissed on the 10-minute mark for what was deemed a dangerous challenge on Kieran Smith in midfield.
The Bluebirds were leading 1-0 at the time, thanks to Elliot Scotcher’s early goal from a free-kick, but went on to lose 4-1 to the Lakesiders.
The forward, who has also filled in at wing-back when required, has been in fine goalscoring form so far this season, netting seven times in all competitions.
Following this decision, Wilson will therefore be available for selection for our upcoming matches, starting with Saturday’s game against The New Saints at the Ogi Bridge Meadow (Kick-off: 2.30pm).
