Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to announce that Iori Humphreys and Josh Legrice have both signed new one-year deals to remain with the club.
The pair, who will be heading into their second season with the senior team in 2022-23, both came through the academy setup and were regular members of the squad in the season just gone.
Humphreys, who captained the Haverfordwest County Development team in this season’s Cymru Premier Development League South, made a handful of appearances over the course of the season.
The 18-year-old made his Bluebirds debut as a substitute in the 5-0 win over Undy Athletic in the Nathaniel MG Cup in September, and went on to feature in the majority of matchday squads for the remainder of the campaign.
Having impressed the coaching team with his professional attitude and positional versatility, the Tenby youngster went on to sign his first professional contract in January – and has remained part of the squad under manager Nicky Hayen.
Legrice, meanwhile, has also been part of the squad right the way through the 2021-22 campaign, having signed his first professional deal in April last year.
The 18-year-old, who is also a regular starter for the Development team, made his senior debut against Cefn Druids in the final game of the 2020-21 season, becoming the youngest ever goalkeeper to feature in the Cymru Premier at the age of 17 years and 128 days.
Both players have shown real dedication and commitment to the team since coming into the fold, and we look forward to seeing their continued development next season!
