Goals either side of half time from Josh Amis and Alex Jones condemned the Bluebirds to defeat at the weekend.
There was an early scare for the Bluebirds as the ball dropped from a corner and Sean Pemberton was required to clear the ball off the line, but the referee then blew the whistle as Gajda was fouled. The Bluebirds had the first clear cut chance, as a long ball was misjudged by a Flint defender and the ball fell to Danny Williams, who played in Wilson, but his strike rattled the post and went wide. A few moments later, there was another defence mix up that led to Wilson having the ball in the Flint box, but his shot was blocked.
Shortly after this, Flint raced down the right and the ball was floated in for Amis who headed in just before half time. Just 3 minutes into the second, Alex Jones headed home from a free kick to double the home side’s lead.
In a second half of few chances, Hampson on the Flint right was lively, but his two efforts late in the game went wide of the post.
The Bluebirds now travel to Aberystwyth on Tuesday (4th) for a 7.45pm kick off
