The Bluebirds welcome Cardiff Met to the Bridge Meadow on Tuesday (27th) for a 7.45pm kick off.
Last Time Out
The Bluebirds earned a point and a clean sheet at home to Flint at the weekend. After a hectic week the Silkmen were welcomed to the Bridge Meadow, where the Bluebirds had the better of the first half. Ben Fawcett, Danny Williams and Jack Wilson were all presented with opportunities, but couldn’t breakthrough. In what was a quiet second half, Wojciech Gajda pulled off an excellent stop with his feet to deny a late Flint goal.
Ollie Hulbert was on target for Met in the 93rd minute against Aberystwyth to cancel out Owain Jones’ strike and earn the Archers a 1-1 draw.
The Reverse Fixtures
There have been few goals this season between these two sides, until recently. The Bluebirds travelled to Met for the opening game of the season, where a 0-0 draw was played out. The Bluebirds also played Met at the start of the latest restart, where a Danny Williams penalty was all that separated the sides. However, the Bluebirds travelled to Met last week where the Archers put in a dominant performance and won the game 6-1.
The Table
After the weekend results, the Bluebirds are now second in the Play-Off Conference, level on points with Newtown. Cardiff Met sit just outside the bottom two on 25 points.
