Haverfordwest County suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Llanelli Town at Stebonheath Park on Friday night.
A goal in the 16th minute from ex-Bluebird Danny Williams was enough to secure victory for the Reds, who leapfrogged above County in the table with their second league win of the season.
The Bluebirds had a couple of chances throughout the first half, with Elliot Scotcher and Owain Jones both having efforts to level proceedings.
It was very much one-way traffic in the second half, but the Bluebirds were unable to find a way back into the contest against a resolute Reds defence.

The Bluebirds won a flurry of corners in the opening minutes with Ben Ahmun and Greg Walters both having headed efforts at goal, neither of which caused any problems for goalkeeper Alex Pennock.
The hosts’ first chance fell to former County man Williams after a quick throw-in saw the forward released into the box, but his strike was met by Ifan Knott who got down low to make the save.
The Bluebirds had a defensive scare minutes later when Ethan Cann’s delivery into the box was sliced towards his own goa by Walters, but the ball thankfully drifted narrowly wide of the right post.

The hosts made their positive start count by breaking the deadlock when Theo Warton drilled a ball into the area that deflected off Williams, wrong-footing Knott and finding the net from point-blank range.
County responded well to the setback with Scotcher trying his luck from distance, but his effort was straight into the gloves of Pennock.
The best chance for the Town since going a goal down came ten minutes before the end of the first-half, when some good link-up play between Corey Shephard and Rhys Abbruzzese saw the latter deliver a dangerous ball into the box to Jones, but his first-time effort flashed over the bar.

A final chance to equalise before the half-time whistle fell to Ahmun when a scramble in the box following a throw-in saw the ball fall to the striker inside the area, but his close-range effort was straight at Pennock who held onto the ball.
The Bluebirds started the second-half positively, with the opening chance of the half falling to Scotcher, with the defender striking an audacious volley from outside of the area that travelled just over the bar.
The Blues were presented with a decent chance to draw themselves level when Pennock was adjudged to have picked up a back pass, with referee Alex McInch awarding an indirect free-kick. Shephard was the player who stepped up to strike, and he drilled a low effort into the bottom left-hand corner with the strike taking a deflection off the Llanelli wall and flying narrowly wide of the left post.

The Bluebirds continued to push for an equaliser going as the game passes the hour mark, with a great team move finishing with Shephard finding the ball on the edge of the area, allowing the midfielder to released a first time effort which bobbled wide of Pennock’s post.
The Reds had their best chance to double their lead however in the 68th minute, with Wharton finding space in the area to strike a powerful effort from close range, but Knott denied him with a great save to clear the danger.
As the match entered the final 20 minutes, chances continued to fall for Tony Pennock’s side, with a corner delivered into the box by Dan Hawkins met by Ricky Watts, but his headed effort glanced off the bar on its way over.
Despite the Blues side throwing everything at the Reds in the closing minutes, they were unable to find a crucial equaliser.
