Haverfordwest County AFC and Pembrokeshire College are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership, strengthening the bond between education, sport, and the local community.
As part of this collaboration, Pembrokeshire College’s football academy provision will now be based at the Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium, the home of the Bluebirds.
This means that the college’s teams will train and play their fixtures at one of the finest facilities in west Wales, creating an inspiring environment for students to learn, develop, and perform.
The partnership will not only provide student-athletes with access to high-quality pitches, but will also open the door to joint initiatives between the club and the college.

By sharing expertise and resources, both organisations aim to create a pathway that supports player development, academic success, and personal growth.
Together, Haverfordwest County AFC and Pembrokeshire College are laying the foundations for a sustainable, ambitious, and community-focused partnership – one that will inspire the next generation of players, students, and supporters across the region.
Emma Davies, Head of Faculty for Specialist Vocational Education at Pembrokeshire College, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Haverfordwest County AFC. Our footballers will benefit hugely from the partnership as they will get to train and play at such a fantastic facility. This quality provision will only serve to develop our players’ confidence and skill, elevating their experience of being a part of our Sports Academies and college as a whole. We are really looking forward to seeing our players, from both our male and female teams, be successful on the pitch.”
Alaric Jones, Partnerships Manager at Haverfordwest County AFC, stated: “We are over the moon to announce our partnership with Pembrokeshire College. Being from Haverfordwest, I have seen first-hand the positive impact this has on the county’s young footballers, and it is great that as a club we can continue to play a key role in the development of football provision for both boys and girls in Pembrokeshire.”
