Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to confirm that Iori Humphreys has agreed a new contract to extend his time at the club.
Iori is a product of the club’s academy system, and has been a regular fixture in the first team setup since breaking in during the 2021-22 season.
A former Development team captain at the Ogi Bridge Meadow, Iori made his 50th first team appearance in our game with Cardiff Metropolitan back in August, while he is also just two games away from bringing up a half century of JD Cymru Premier appearances.
Having made his first team debut in the 5-0 victory over Undy Athletic in the Nathaniel MG Cup back in September 2021, Iori has since proven to be a dependable figure for the three managers he has played under, with his impressive work rate and high fitness levels meaning he never lets the side down when called upon.

Iori most recently signed a new deal in February 2024, with this latest contract another example of how the club is keen to give promising young footballers from Pembrokeshire an opportunity to test themselves at the highest level of domestic football in Wales.
Commenting on the news, manager Tony Pennock said: “Iori has once again this season shown what an important member of our squad he is, and he has played a big part in this season’s success so far.
“He continues to improve in all aspects of his game, and is a tremendous athlete. Myself and Waggy are looking forward to seeing Iori continue his development in a Bluebirds shirt hopefully for many years to come.”
Upon signing his new contract, Iori said: “I’m delighted to have signed another contract with the club. I love playing for Haverfordwest County – the whole team and supporters create such a great atmosphere.
“I’ve grown so much as a player and I can’t wait to keep pushing forward with the team”
Iori is kindly sponsored by Mared Pemberton.
