Haverfordwest County AFC make their second visit of the season to Essity Stadium on Saturday as we take on Flint Town United, hoping to extend our good recent record in north Wales.
The Bluebirds tasted defeat for the first time in 2024-25 last weekend as reigning champions and first-time UEFA Conference League qualifers The New Saints recorded a narrow 1-0 victory at LHP Stadium.
The Silkmen, meanwhile, notched their first victory of the campaign on MD6 as a brace from striker Elliott Reeves earned them a 2-0 win over Aberystwyth Town in front of the live Sgorio cameras at Park Avenue.
You have to go back to April 2023 for the most recent meeting betweent the sides. On that occasion, the Town ran out 2-0 winners at Essity Stadium thanks to goals from Corey Shephard and Jordan Davies.
County currently find themselves third in the standings after six rounds of action, and a victory tomorrow could see Tony Pennock’s side finish the weekend joint-top of the table.
