Haverfordwest County will be looking to bounce back when they travel north to take on Bala Town at Maes Tegid in this week’s live Sgorio game on Friday evening.

The Bluebirds suffered a disappointing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Barry Town United last time out. Keston Davies and Ben Margetson’s headers gave the Linnets a 2-0 half-time lead, before Ieuan Owen and Ollie Hulbert – from the penalty spot – found the net in the second half.

The Lakesiders played out a 2-2 draw with Cardiff Metropolitan last Saturday. Harry Dean gave the Lakesiders the lead before the Students hit back with goals from Lewis Rees and Matt Chubb giving them the lead at the break. However, John Owen’s goal seven minutes into the second half ensured the spoils were shared at Maes Tegid.

The most recent meeting between the sides came back in October. On that occasion, the Bluebirds ran out 2-0 winners at the Ogi Bridge Meadow thanks to goals from Greg Walters and Ben Ahmun.

Tony Pennock’s men currently find themselves 11th in the standings, however a victory tomorrow would see County move to within a point of the Lakesiders in eighth, still with a game in hand.
