Haverfordwest County make the journey to Oswestry for a Saturday lunchtime meeting with reigning JD Cymru Premier champions The New Saints at Park Hall tomorrow.

The Bluebirds drew 1-1 with current league leaders Caernarfon Town at the Ogi Bridge Meadow last Saturday, a result which extended our unbeaten run to three matches. Ben Ahmun’s first-half penalty was cancelled out by Dominic Smith’s header to ensure a share of the spoils.

The Saints were held to a goalless draw by Barry Town United at Jenner Park last time out, having drawn 1-1 away at Colwyn Bay on Bank Holiday Monday.

The most recent between the sides came back in April, in what was the final game of the regular season before the Bluebirds went on to seal European qualification a month later in the play-off final. Adam Wilson, Zack Clarke and Ryan Brobbel netted for the Saints, with Dan Hawkins scoring a consolation goal with a minute of normal time remaining.

County currently find themselves in eighth place, three places and three points behind the Saints who occupy fifth.
