Haverfordwest County travel to Briton Ferry Llansawel on Bank Holiday Monday for our first away fixture of the 2025-26 JD Cymru Premier season.

The Bluebirds were held to a 2-2 draw by Cardiff Metropolitan at the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Friday evening, a result which saw us pick up our first point of the season. The Town had led by two goals at the interval thanks to strikes from Ben Ahmun and Corey Shephard, but two goals within the opening two minutes of the second half from Jasper Payne and Ryan Reynolds drew the Archers level, and that was how the scoreline remained.

The Reds have made a positive start to the 2025-26 season, with Andy Dyer’s men currently occupying second place after two wins and a draw from their opening three matches, which included a 3-0 success away at reigning champions The New Saints on the opening day.

The most recent meeting between the sides came back in January. On that occasion, County ran out 5-1 winners thanks to a brace from Ben Ahmun along with goals from Rhys Abbruzzese, Owain Jones and Greg Walters.
