Haverfordwest County return to JD Cymru Premier action on Friday evening when we take on Cardiff Metropolitan at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.

The Bluebirds’ first scheduled away game of the season, against Flint Town United at Essity Stadium, was postponed last Saturday due to a burst water main in Broughton, meaning the Town had an unexpected week’s break from on-field action.

The Archers have picked up two points from their first two games of the new season, following score draws with Caernarfon Town and Briton Ferry Llansawel.

The most recent meeting between the sides at the Ogi Bridge Meadow came back in February. On that occasion, Ben Fawcett’s second-half goal was enough to secure all three points for County in front of a crowd of over 1,100.

Tomorrow’s opponents have added to their squad over the summer, with defender Liam Walsh, midfielder Riley Lonergan and forwards Jasper Payne and Lifumpa Mwandwe all arriving in the capital, with former Bluebird Harri John also signing for the Students after three seasons at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.
