Haverfordwest County open their 2025-26 domestic campaign with the visit of Newport City to the Ogi Bridge Meadow in the second round of the Nathaniel MG Cup on Saturday.
The Bluebirds are gearing up for a return to on-field action with just over two weeks having past since the defeat to Floriana in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
Tomorrow’s opponents have already played two competitive matches so far this season, with their 2-0 win over Baglan Dragons in the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup followed up with a 1-0 success against Afan Lido on the opening day of the JD Cymru South last Friday.
The Steelmen finished third in last season’s second tier, and made a host of signings during the off-season which included the arrival of former Barry Town United captain Kayne McLaggon.
