Haverfordwest County are delighted to welcome Elliot Scotcher back to the club ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The 31-year-old is a very recognisable face at the Ogi Bridge Meadow, having represented the Bluebirds on many occasions since first arriving at the club back in 2018.
Scotch has spent the majority of the last two seasons on the sidelines having suffered a setback when returning from a knee injury, but he has worked incredibly hard to battle back to fitness and has come through our pre-season preparations.
The midfielder, who can also play in defence, joined Aberystwyth Town during Phase Two of last season’s JD Cymru Premier as he continued his comeback, and he can now look forward to being part of our European adventure this summer and the 2025-26 domestic season.
Commenting on Elliot’s return, manager Tony Pennock said: “Elliot has worked really hard to get back on the pitch after an extremely difficult couple of seasons.
“I’m really pleased he’s come through four weeks of pre-season as, when he’s available, he shows all of the qualities I look for in a player.
“He will get stronger and fitter over the coming weeks, and will be an important member of our squad this season.
“He has a great range of passing, and he is a calming influence on the younger players in our squad.”
Upon his return to the club, Elliot said: “I’m delighted to be re-signing for the club.
“It’s been a difficult couple of years being sidelined through injury and not being able to be part of all the success on the field.
“I’ve worked really hard to get back playing, and I’m excited to play my part in what I hope will be another successful season.”
