Haverfordwest County have been drawn to face Floriana of Malta in the first qualifying round of the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.
The draw took place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon on Tuesday afternoon, with the Bluebirds matched against the side who finished third in last season’s Maltese Premier League.
County are gearing up for their second European campaign in three years, and can now look forward to adding Malta to their list of destinations having previously visited Iceland in 2004 and North Macedonia and the Faroe Islands in 2023 on their continental travels.
The Greens are 26-time champions of Malta, and have competed in Europe in three of the last five campaigns, reaching the second qualifying round of last year’s UEFA Conference League where they were defeated 5-0 on aggregate by Vitória de Guimarães of Portugal.
The Town will be hoping to create more history on the European stage, having won a tie for the very first time when we defeated KF Shkëndija of North Macedonia in the first qualifying round of the 2023-24 UEFA Europa Conference League.
The first leg will take place at Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali on Tuesday 8 July (18:30 BST), with the second leg being held at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli nine days later on Thursday 17 July (18:00 BST).
