Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce that our club documentary series, You Can Have It All, will return for a fourth season to capture our European adventure this summer!
The most recent instalment of the series told the story of our journey in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers in the summer of 2023, when we created club history by winning a European tie for the very first time as we defeated experienced campaigners KF Shkëndija of North Macedonia on penalties at Cardiff City Stadium.
The series originally began filming during the 2021-22 season, covering a rollercoaster campaign that saw the Bluebirds battle to avoid relegation from the JD Cymru Premier. Having occupied 11th place for a period of time, County’s top-flight status was far from certain until an impressive turnaround under then-manager Nicky Hayen secured our safety.
Season Two covered another action-packed campaign, as the Town secured a seventh place finish before going on to defeat Cardiff Metropolitan and Newtown away from home on successive weekends to end our 19-year wait to return to Europe.
With excitement at fever pitch as Tony Pennock’s men geared up for a first continental campaign since 2004, Season Three of You Can Have It All was confirmed. Beginning with the first and second qualifying round draws at UEFA headquarters in Geneva, the documentary gave viewers a behind-the-scenes perspective of what a European journey entails, following all of the action as we travelled to Skopje and Tórshavn in the first and second qualifying rounds.
And now, following our recent 3-1 victory over Caernarfon Town in the JD Cymru Premier European play-off final at the Ogi Bridge Meadow, the Bluebirds can look forward to a second European experience in three years – and the cameras will be there to capture the entire journey for however long it should last!
