Casual Community Coach

Haverfordwest County AFC are looking for energetic, creative, and flexible team members willing to support the expansion of the club’s community offering.
Reporting to the club’s Community Manager, the successful candidate/s will deliver high-quality community sessions in a wide range of settings, supporting the growth of the club’s community provision.
The role will include working some evenings and weekends, as well as school holidays. The role may require the successful candidate/s to be available on matchdays, which are typically every other Friday evening or Saturday afternoon.
The successful candidate/s will deliver on a wide range of community initiatives, projects and programmes. Delivery will include coaching football-based activities on holiday camps, extra-curricular school sessions, health and wellbeing sessions, and much more.
Main duties:
- Plan, deliver and review inclusive coaching sessions
- Differentiate activities and coaching methods based on participants
- Report any safeguarding concerns via the club’s reporting process
- Demonstrate a high-energy, confidence, and enthusiasm whilst working with all participants
- Undertake dynamic risk assessments
- Adhere to Haverfordwest County AFC’s safeguarding procedure at all times.
