Haverfordwest County AFC return home to the Ogi Bridge Meadow for the first time in exactly a month when we take on Penybont in front of the live Sgorio cameras on Friday evening.
The Bluebirds added another point to their tally following a goalless draw away at Bala Town last Saturday. In a game of few chances, the Town battled hard to keep a league-leading 15th clean sheet of the season to ensure we went unbeaten against the Lakesiders in 2024-25.
The Bridgend side, meanwhile, were held to a stalemate at home to Cardiff Metropolitan last Friday. Defender Billy Borge was sent off in the first half having been shown two yellow cards, but Rhys Griffiths’ men held on to claim a point.
The most recent meeting between the sides came at the start of February. On that occasion, there was nothing to separate the teams as they contested a goalless draw at SDM Glass Stadium.
Tony Pennock’s men currently find themselves third in the standings, six point behind second place Bont and seven points clear of fourth place Cardiff Metropolitan. Victory on Friday evening and a favourable result in the capital on Saturday would see us guarantee at least a third place finish, however many possibilities still remain open as we enter the business end of the season.
