Haverfordwest County AFC return to JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference action when we welcome Cardiff Metropolitan to the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Friday evening.
The Bluebirds’ most recent outing came a fortnight ago when we drew 1-1 with Caernarfon Town at the Carling Oval. Ben Fawcett opened the scoring with an early strike, but the Canaries responded through Louis Lloyd as the points were shared in north Wales.
The Archers have made a positive start to Phase Two, recording victories over Penybont and Bala Town either side of a 3-1 defeat to The New Saints at Park Hall.
The previous meeting between the sides came back in September. On that occasion, County recorded a 1-0 victory thanks to Owain Jones’ goal 10 minutes into the second half.
Tony Pennock’s men currently find themselves third in the standings, six points behind second place Penybont and seven points clear of the Students and Caernarfon Town in fourth and fifth.
