Haverfordwest County AFC make a swift return to the Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium as we take on Briton Ferry Llansawel in our final home game of Phase One on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds made a winning return to Pembrokeshire on New Year’s Day as we celebrated the official opening of our new 3G pitch with a 1-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town. Dan Hawkins’ goal six minutes before half time was enough to secure the three points.

The Reds were most recently in action on New Year’s Eve, when they played out a goalless draw with Barry Town United at Old Road. Ferry currently find themselves 11th in the standings, five points ahead of Aberystwyth Town and one point behind 10th place Newtown.

The most recent meeting between the sides came back in October. On that occasion, the Bluebirds ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Owain Jones and Lee Jenkins either side of Kian Jenkins’ equaliser.

This fixture was originally due to take place on Friday 6 December at LHP Stadium in Carmarthen, but the adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Darragh caused the match to be postponed.

Tony Pennock’s men are now guaranteed to finish Phase One in third place, in what will be our first top six finish since the top-flight restructured in 2010.
