Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to confirm we have renewed our sponsorship agreement with Visit Malta UK for the 2024-25 season.

Visit Malta first came on board with the club last season, as they sponsored Luke Tabone and former defender, Oscar Borg, who both have strong connections to the island nation. Their logo was also proudly displayed on an advertising board at the Ogi Bridge Meadow throughout the 2023-24 campaign, as well as on our website and other physical and digital promotional material.

Visit Malta, whose mission is to showcase Malta’s captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty to the world, effectively promoting the country’s unique offerings and foster a welcoming environment for visitors, continually inspiring travellers to choose Malta as their ideal holiday destination.

We welcomed Visit Malta to the Ogi Bridge Meadow back in the spring as they carried out filming with Luke and Oscar, where they discussed their footballing journies so far and the differences between playing in Malta and Wales.

We are delighted that Visit Malta will continue to sponsor Luke for the 2024-25 season, as the centre-back looks to build on his encouraging displays which recently earned him another call-up the Maltese national team – where he made his first start in a 2-0 friendly victory over Liechtenstein – having come off the bench to feature in the UEFA Nations League for the first time in the 1-0 win over Moldova at the start of October.
