Haverfordwest County AFC take on Briton Ferry Llansawel on Tuesday evening, as the Bluebirds visit the Old Road in the top-flight for the first time since the 1993-94 season.

County added another point to their tally on Saturday after a goalless draw with Connah’s Quay Nomads at LHP Stadium, a result which extended our unbeaten run to five matches.

The Ferry, meanwhile, suffered a 3-1 defeat to Barry Town United at Jenner Park on Saturday. A first top-flight goal for Ellis Sage wasn’t enough for the Neath Port Talbot side, as Keenan Patten, Eliot Richards and Ollie Hulbert struck to secure victory for the Linnets.

You have to go back to November 2019 for the most recent competitive meeting between the sides. On that occasion, the Old Road outfit ran out 4-1 winners thanks to goals from Joe Hunt, Cameron Harris, Tyler Brock and Stephen Davey.

Tony Pennock’s side currently find themselves second in the table, and a victory would ensure we maintain this position as we enter the final 10 matches of Phase One.
