Haverfordwest County AFC will be aiming to build on their positive start to the season when they welcome Penybont to LHP Stadium in Carmarthen on Friday evening.
After back-to-back away wins at Connah’s Quay Nomads and Caernarfon Town respectively, the Bluebirds are full of confidence as they prepare for their first league game at their temporary home.
Owain Jones’ 91st-minute goal clinched a dramatic victory at the Carling Oval last Saturday, after Mathew Jones’ strike had cancelled out Ben Ahmun’s opener.
The Bridgend side have also made an encourgaing start to the campaign, with their opening-day win over newly-promoted Briton Ferry Llansawel followed up with a goalless draw at home to Newtown last Friday.
The most recent meeting between the sides came in the final game of last season, when Chris Venables’ early strike was enough to secure a 1-0 win for Rhys Griffiths’ men.
