Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to confirm the appointment of Harry Thomas as our new Community Manager.

Harry will officially start in the role on Monday 29 July, and joins the club having most recently worked as Pastoral Lead at Westward House School in St Clears and Head of Physical Education at Castle School in Haverfordwest.

In his new role, Harry will play a pivotal part in shaping our fan and community engagements, while also overseeing various aspects of the club’s community day-to-day activities and helping to foster a strong connection between the club, our fans, facility users and the broader community.

Followers of the club will already be familiar with Harry, who has previously worked in our academy in a variety of roles including under-9s Lead Coach, Head of Pre Academy, Head of Foundation Phase and Head of Youth Phase before taking up the opportunity to become Assistant Head Coach of Genero Adran Premier side Swansea City Ladies in November 2022.

Harry has also held the roles of Premier League Primary Stars Area Coordinator and Education Coordinator at the Swansea City Community Trust, where he spent five years between 2018 and 2023.

Speaking on his new role, Harry said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started at the end of the month and playing a vital role in shaping the club’s fan and community engagements.

“I’m determined to provide more opportunities in and around the club to support the needs of local people, and make match day experiences even more enjoyable for all supporters.”
