The 2023-24 JD Cymru Premier regular season draws to a thrilling conclusion this weekend, as Haverfordwest County travel to Penybont for a meeting which will decide the fourth and final participant in the European play-offs.
The Bluebirds currently occupy seventh spot, as we have done throughout the Playoff Conference campaign, however with the gap between the two sides standing at three points, it will be all to play for in Bridgend.
County come into the game on the back of four consecutive victories over Pontypridd United, Aberystwyth Town, Barry Town United and Colwyn Bay, while Bont are unbeaten in their last five outings.
The previous meeting between the sides ended 1-0 to Rhys Griffiths’ team at the start of March, with Bill Borge’s goal enough to secure the win.
The Town will become back Martell Taylor-Crossdale after the striker missed last Saturday’s 3-1 win over Colwyn Bay after serving a one-game suspension for picking up five yellow cards.
The equation is a simple one for both teams: if Haverfordwest County avoid defeat, we will finish seventh, while defeat for the Bluebirds will see Penybont qualify for the playoffs.
