Haverfordwest County AFC can confirm Ashleigh Hopkins has stepped down from his head of coaching role with immediate effect.

Ashleigh joined the club in August 2022, and has been the main figure within the Academy setup during the last 21 months.

Having previously held roles in a variety of professional settings, Ashleigh brought experience to the role and helped to play a significant part in the Academy achieving FAW Category B status for the current season.

Ashleigh’s role centred around bringing the best young talent in Pembrokeshire into the Academy, while also focusing on coach development and establishing community links, with the latter resulting in a partnership being formed with Rising Stars Football Coaching to develop a female player pathway for girls in Pembrokeshire, as well as grassroots side Hundleton, with whom we are collaborating to improve community relations and, again, focus on a player pathway in the county.
