Haverfordwest County head to north Wales for the final time in the regular season on Saturday as we take on Colwyn Bay, looking to record our first victory of Phase Two in the JD Cymru Premier.

The Bluebirds earned a point away to Barry Town United last Friday, with Rhys Abbruzzese’s last-gasp equaliser ensuring the game ended 1-1 at Jenner Park.

The Seagulls were in action a day later, and they tasted a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Pontypridd United at the USW Sport Park, a result which saw them remain bottom of the table as approach the business end of the season.

The most recent meeting between the sides came back in November, with County running out 5-0 winners thanks to a hat-trick from Martell Taylor-Crossdale and goals from Rio Dyer and Dan John. The corresponding fixture ended 2-1 in favour of the Town at the start of September, with Taylor-Crossdale and Kai Whitmore both opening their accounts for the club in the come-from-behind win.

Tony Pennock’s side are currently seventh in the table, top of the Playoff Conference, and either a victory or a draw tomorrow would see us maintain our position with six games left to play in Phase Two.
