Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to welcome Neil Thomas to our Board of Directors.

Neil works as a Director of OCU Group, who are a utilities, telecoms and transport infrastructure specialist, meaning his business leadership skills and project experience will be invaluable to the club as we look to undertake significant developments on and off the pitch over the coming years.

Alongside his professional experience, Neil is also very familiar with the club and the surrounding areas, having played for and captained Haverfordwest County during his career as a footballer.

Speaking on the news, Neil said: “Firstly, I’d like to thank Rob and the board members for this amazing opportunity to become a director of Haverfordwest County.

“I have already seen first hand the ambition that is at the football club, and the great staff that are already at the club giving their all.

“As an ex player and a passionate fan, my vision for the club’s future aligns seamlessly with the values and ambitions of the chairman and current board members.

“This is a really exciting time for the football club, and I fully believe with the vision, drive and determination of all departments within the club, we can ensure a better experience for supporters and the community.”

Chairman Rob Edwards commented: “Neil has a vast array of valuable business and commercial experience which we can certainly delve in to and benefit from as a working group.

“He also knows the club extremely well and followed us closely over the last decade or so, so he understands the dynamic of the club immediately.

“I am delighted to have somebody of Neil’s calibre coming on board with us, and both my fellow Board members and senior management team are really looking forward to working with him.”
