Haverfordwest County are at home for the first time in Phase Two on Friday evening, when we welcome Pontypridd United to the Ogi Bridge Meadow.

The Bluebirds will be looking to bounce back from last Friday’s disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Aberystwyth Town, a result which saw us drop down to second in the JD Cymru Premier Playoff Conference after Penybont’s win at Colwyn Bay on Saturday.

The Dragons, who currently occupy bottom spot in the standings, recorded an impressive 3-0 win over Barry Town United at Jenner Park last weekend to give new manager Gavin Allen the perfect start, with Ben Ahmun, Owain Jones and Owen Pritchard finding the net to give them all three points.

The previous meeting between the sides at the Ogi Bridge Meadow came back on the opening day of the season, as we played out a goalless draw in the 2023-24 curtain-raiser.

A draw or a win for Tony Pennock’s side would be enough to lift us back up to seventh place, with current occupiers Penybont not in action until Saturday when they host Barry Town United.
