Following the news that our JD Cymru Premier MD18 encounter with The New Saints has been rearranged for Saturday, December 23, Haverfordwest County AFC are making a pledge to anyone who would be willing to provide support in a volunteering capacity on the day.

Due to the short notice of the rearrangement, the vast majority of our existing volunteers are unavailable due to prior commitments centered around the festive period, meaning we are currently short-staffed and not in a position to ensure the game can go ahead in both a smooth and safe fashion.

Despite the obvious issues surrounding player welfare and other challenges presented, we have been informed that the match will be taking place on this date.

Our volunteers provide an essential matchday service in a number of areas, including manning the ticket booth, stewarding, working behind the bar and coordinating the running of matchdays. Without them, matches would simply not to be able to go ahead.

If you, or someone you know, would be willing to help us out on December 23, please get in touch by emailing chairman Rob Edwards on r.edwards@hcafc1899.football. Any experience in the areas listed above would be beneficial, however we will be able to guide you through the different roles to ensure you are familiar with them.

As a thank you, there will be a hot meal, refreshments and some free tickets for you or friends/family for future fixtures at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.
