Haverfordwest County return to JD Cymru Premier action with a trip to the Carling Oval to take on Caernarfon Town on Saturday.
Having suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Cardiff Metropolitan in the JD Welsh Cup last Saturday, the Bluebirds will be looking to bounce back against a Canaries side who have performed well thus far in Phase One.
The north Walians have not played since December 2, when they came from behind to edge out Pontypridd United 2-1 at the USW Sport Park, with goals from Zack Clarke and Sion Bradley earning them all three points.
The most recent meeting between the sides came on August 26, when a last-gasp free-kick from Rhys Abbruzzese earned the Town a point in a 1-1 draw at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.
County currently find themselves eighth in the standings, six points and two place behind Caernarfon. A victory for the Bluebirds could be enough to lift them to seventh, depending on the result of Penybont’s visit to The New Saints. With the race for the top six looking like it is going to go down to the wire, this game could go a long way towards deciding the composition of the table come January 13.
