Haverfordwest County’s final outing before Christmas sees the Bluebirds welcome champions and current JD Cymru Premier leaders The New Saints to the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Saturday.

The MD18 encounter, which was originally due to take place on December 2, was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Following the rearrangement, this will be the only game of football taking place in Pembrokeshire this weekend, providing football fans with one last bit of action to enjoy before Christmas.

The Bluebirds head into the game on the back of last week’s crucial 1-0 win away at Caernarfon Town, with Rio Dyer’s second half goal enough to take all three points back to Pembrokeshire with us.

The Saints, meanwhile, were also in action last Saturday, as they recorded a 3-0 win at home to Penybont, with Jordan Williams, Josh Pask and Declan McManus all on the scoresheet.

With four games left to play in Phase One, Tony Pennock’s side currently find themselves seventh in the standings, three points behind Caernarfon with a game in hand, as the battle to secure a top six race looks likely to go right down to the wire in January.

Christmas Competition

To help spread some festive cheer, we are offering supporters who attend either Saturday’s game, or our meeting with Barry Town United on Boxing Day, the chance to win a Bluebirds Bonus just in time for Christmas.

The attendances from both matches will be combined and converted into a cash prize (each attendee = £1), with a lucky fan scooping half of the jackpot, while choosing a local charity or community organisation to share their winnings with!

Remember, the bigger the crowd, the bigger the bonus!
