Haverfordwest County return to cup action tomorrow as we welcome Ammanford to the Ogi Bridge Meadow in the third round of the JD Welsh Cup.
The Bluebirds come into the game fresh from last Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Colwyn Bay in the JD Cymru Premier, with Martell Taylor-Crossdale netting his first senior hat-trick as Rio Dyer and Dan John opened their senior accounts for the Town.
Due to a couple of postponements, Ammanford have not taken to the field since October 21, when they drew 0-0 away at Llantwit Major. Gruff Harrison’s side currently sit fifth in the JD Cymru South, with six wins, two draws and two losses from their 10 league outings to date.
You have to go back to February 21, 2020 for the most recent competitive meeting between the sides. On that occasion, the Bluebirds ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Tim Hicks and Jack Wilson.
