Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Beccy Nuttall as our new Chief Operating Officer.

Officially starting in the role on January 3, 2024, Beccy will join the club from Cardiff Metropolitan University where, for the last decade, she has worked as Head of Operations and Academy Manager.

Her roles and responsibilities span from the day-to-day running of the club to managing the academy staff. Some of her notable achievements include organising a European trip to Luxembourg as a part of the Archers’ involvement in the Europa League qualifiers in 2019, hosting the Nathaniel MG Cup final at Cardiff Met, Barry and Penybont, as well as securing categorisation for the academy. Beccy also has a long history of running community and student sports programmes.

Alongside working at the football club, Beccy is a lecturer at Cardiff Met University, managing work-placements and supporting the student experience.

Beccy has a history of being a high-performing athlete. She previously represented Wales as a middle distance runner. In addition to athletics, Beccy has a BSc in Sport and Physical Education, a MSc in Sport Management, and a PgCERT teaching qualification.

Commenting on Beccy’s arrival, chairman Rob Edwards said: “I’m delighted to have Beccy join the club. She has a great reputation as an operator in the Cymru Premier, having been with Cardiff Metropolitan University for almost a decade, and she will bring a huge amount of experience.

“She has a vast understanding around the workings of a football club, and will be able to get to grips with our challenges very quickly, alongside supporting the Board with all its longer term objectives.”

Beccy shared her excitement, adding: “Haverfordwest County are a progressive club, with a forward thinking board. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the journey.”

We are delighted to welcome Beccy to the club, and we look forward to working with her in the near future!
