Haverfordwest County and The New Saints will meet for the first time since January when the Bluebirds make the journey to Oswestry in the JD Cymru Premier tomorrow.

County suffered a disappointing 4-0 loss at home to Newtown last week, as we tasted a league defeat at the Ogi Bridge Meadow for the first time since October 2022, which ironically came against the Saints.

Craig Harrison’s side were not in league action last weekend due to their involvement in the SPFL Trust Trophy, as they beat Hibernian B 3-0 in Edinburgh on Friday evening. Their league game with Bala Town – who were also involved in the competition – was rescheduled for Wednesday evening. The match finished 0-0 at Maes Tegid, and saw red cards shown to Ollie Shannon and Adrian Cieślewicz, as well as Bala assistant manager, Ryan Valentine, and Saints boss, Harrison.

The Oswestry outfit have not lost a league encounter since February, when they went down 3-2 to Cardiff Metropolitan. They currently sit top of the table with four wins and two draws from their first six games, with the Bluebirds occupying ninth.
