Haverfordwest County will be looking to build on their positive display away at Cardiff Metropolitan in midweek when we welcome Aberystwyth Town to the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Saturday.

The Bluebirds earned a point on their travels to the capital, but were left pondering what might have been having conceded an 88th-minute equaliser, before Bluebirds goalkeeper Ifan Knott saved Lewis Rees’ stoppage-time penalty to ensure we took a share of the spoils.

The Seasiders were victorious over Bala Town at Maes Tegid on Wednesday evening, as striker John Owen’s first-half goal earned them all three points and their first victory of the season.

The previous meeting between the teams came back in April, when we played out a 1-1 draw at the Meadow. Defender Sam Litchfield gave the Black and Greens a half-time lead, before Jack Leahy drew us level early in the second half.

County currently find themselves 10th in the standings, while the Seasiders prop up the table in 12th having won one, drawn one and lost seven of their league outings to date. Mathematically, the Bluebirds could end the day anywhere from 8th to 12th depending on results.
