Haverfordwest County AFC can confirm that Jamie Veale will be leaving the club following the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.

The midfielder has turned down a contract offer having expressed a desire to play elsewhere next season.

Veale, 26, joined the Bluebirds last summer from Aberystwyth Town, and featured 32 times in all competitions for County this season.

The former Cardiff City youth product netted two goals for the club – both free-kicks – in the 2-1 win over Penybont in December and the 4-0 win over Airbus UK Broughton in March.

He was also part of the team which secured qualification for Europe for the first time since 2004.
