Haverfordwest County AFC Academy hosted their annual awards presentation at the Ogi Bridge Meadow this past Sunday, May 21.
The event celebrated the academy teams’ achievements throughout the 2022-23 season, and thanked parents for their support and commitment.
Our 11 age groups, which feature over 100 boys and girls from under-8s to our under-19s development team, were all in attendance to receive recognition for their achievements, before collecting their individual medals and trophies and having a squad photo with their teammates.
There were Players’ Player and Player of the Year awards for each age group, with many of the winners hard to choose following an impressive all-round display from our teams in 2022-23.
It was great to see the players enjoying their day, and there was a clear appetite and excitement for more success in the season to come.
Thank you to all club staff and volunteers who gave up their time to make sure the event was a real success, and we are looking forward to many more academy awards in the future.
