Haverfordwest County AFC are now in a position to be able to confirm our Pre-Season schedule ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The five-match programme, which will see us take on a couple of familiar names, along with a few exciting challenges, gets under way in just 19 days time.

With our participation in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League coming up in July, the Bluebirds are gearing up for an earlier return than usual ahead of our first foray into Europe since 2004.

Our opening fixture will see us travel down the A40 to take on Carmarthen Town at Richmond Park on Saturday June 17, with kick-off at 2pm.

Then, a week later, Tony Pennock’s side will have the opportunity to test themselves against the recently-crowned champions of the NIFL Premiership, Larne. The Bluebirds will be in County Antrim on Saturday June 24 for a 5.30pm kick-off, with the game against the UEFA Champions League qualifying-bound side being an important part of our own European preparations.

Our third friendly will be on Tuesday July 4 when we travel to the Brewery Field to take on fellow Europa Conference League qualifying participants, Pen-y-Bont. The kick-off time for the game, which takes place at the home of Bridgend Ravens, will be confirmed in due course.

Our next game after this will be on the European stage, with the First Qualifying Round first leg taking place on July 13 before the second leg on July 20. We will discover our opponent when the draw takes place in Geneva, Switzerland on June 20.

Five days after the second leg, we will return home with a game against Swansea City under-21s on Tuesday July 25, which gets under way at 7pm, before we take on Cardiff City under-21s four days later on Saturday July 29 (kick-off 2pm)

We are looking to add to the current schedule of matches, and we will confirm any such additions in due course.
